We are pleased to announce that Darrell Castle and Scott Bradley will be on the Louisiana ballot on November 8, 2016 as independents.
They will be in a field of nine independents and four recognized party candidates. A sample ballot should be published soon.
We urge constitutional conservatives to visit the Castle2016 website (http://castle2016.com/) and donate and/or volunteer for the campaign in Louisiana as soon as possible. You may also contact Louisiana's Constitution Party Chairman at r...@cpofla.com for information on local campaign efforts in Louisiana!
Many Thanks to those of you who agreed to act as electors and moved quickly despite flooding and mass disruptions to execute and turn in their paperwork. Job well done!
There's a reason you're here today, reviewing The Constitution Party of Louisiana's web site. Perhaps you're searching for an alternative to today's "Big 2". More than likely, just like us, you've come to the conclusion that there really isn't any substantive difference between the "Big 2" Parties.
Our once great nation has steadily been sliding down a slippery slope, yet, in spite of the continued promises from the "Big 2", we're certainly not seeing any light at the end of the tunnel.
That’s why The Constitution Party was formed. Not to be another “third” party, but to be a true alternative to the “Big 2”, who are truly the Big One party. America needs a choice, a real choice, not the option of picking one of two parties who continue to deliver the same failing promises. The Constitution Party is a real choice for a restored America.
In 1992 a coalition of independent state parties united to form the U.S. Taxpayers Party at its first national convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. Among the notable convention speakers was former Congressman Ron Paul. The party’s founder, Howard Phillips of Virginia, Chairman of the grass-roots lobby, the Conservative Caucus, was nominated to be the party’s first candidate for President with retired Army Brigadier General Albion Knight of Maryland nominated as the party’s first vice-presidential running mate. The US Taxpayer’s Party secured ballot position in 21 states. Later, in 1999, the name was changed to the Constitution Party to better reflect the party’s primary focus of re-establishing the American Constitutional Republic according to the Actual Intent of the Framers of the U.S. Constitution.
We are rebuilding our web sie to provide more information to you and we ask you to check back on a regular basis for additions.
Thanks you, and enjoy your visit.
The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.
